BAKED LAMB & POTATOES

 Summary:
I got this off my boss, when he was getting recipes from his mum.

Ingredients:
1 per person       Lamb forequarter chops ( or Pork)
                                Potatoes, sliced
1                              large Onion, sliced
3 cloves               Garlic, whole
To taste                Salt & Pepper
Oil
Margarine
Water

Directions:
  1.              Fry chops in pan.
    2         In the meantime, lay sliced onions at the bottom of a baking tray. Place the fried chops on top of the onions. Place the sliced potatoes on top of the meat.
    3         Add garlic around the baking dish (remove when serving).
    4         Pour oil on top of the potatoes; add dollops of margarine on top of that. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.
    5         Add water around the bottom of the baking dish and bake for 1 hour or until the potatoes are well cooked and browned on top.
