MIN CHI (Minced Meat and Fried Potatoes)

large chopped onion

Shallow or
deep fry cubed potatoes until crispy, drain and set aside.
Fry the
onions, then add the mince. When the mince is brown, add all the other
ingredients.
Toss in the potatoes at the end. |

I really like min chee with porridge. It’s the saltiness against the bland softness.
I also like how gmail can tell me exactly when I asked Mum for the recipe many years ago.

Directions:
Shallow or deep fry potatoes until crispy, drain and set aside.
Fry the onions, then add the mince. When the mince is brown, add all the other ingredients.
Toss in the potatoes with the min chee at the end.
Good served with a runny egg and mango chutney.
