酿和油炸油炸鬼 Stuffed and Deep Fried Yau Char Kuey
When buying the yau char key choose ones that are not so brown as it’s going to be cooked again.
Ingredients:
Pork mince
Fish Paste
Garlic, minced
Yau Char Kuey
Directions:
Squish the minced pork and fish paste in a bowl and mix well with the minced garlic into a smooth texture.
Cut the yau char key into 1.5inch long pieces and stuff with the mixture.
Heat the oil in a hot wok until the surface shimmers slightly. Add the pieces in batches and deep fry until lightly browned. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain well on kitchen paper.
