Spaghetti Bolognese
Mum gave this to me when we were in uni, couldn't even make the basic spaghetti! Haha. eg.me makes this like a pro now and he only likes it when the mince is half beef and half pork.
Do try and defrost your mince in the fridge overnight, because I find if you defrost mince in the microwave, no matter how careful you are it seems to really toughen the meat and it's awful.

Ingredients
250g spaghetti
500g minced meat, half pork and half beef
3 onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, chopped
2 tins tomatoe puree (325ml each)
olive oil and butter, for frying
salt and pepper, to taste
basil or other suitable herb, optional
Directions
Fry the garlic and onions in the oil and butter over medium heat until fragrant.
Add the mince and cook until browned.
Add the tomato puree and fry until oil comes out.
Add one can (325ml) of water and season to taste.
Simmer on a low fire for approx 1 hr.
Check the taste, and season again if necessary then serve with AL DENTE pasta.
