卤肉 Loh Bak (Tou Pok with Pork and Soya Sauce)


Ingredients:
½ bulb of garlic, whole
1 thumb of ginger, whole
½ kg of pork
Light soy
Dark soy
Water
Tou Pok

Directions:
Fry the pork till browned in a stock pot.
Add the garlic and ginger and almost cover the meat with liquid (¼ light and dark soy, ¾ water). Then add the tou pok.
Bring up to the boil then lower the heat and simmer for 2 hours.
Stir occasionally to make sure nothing sticks to the bottom and burns.
