Cream of Mushroom Soup

TW asked for the recipe of Mum's mushroom soup when she came over.

Subject: cream of mushroom soup

 Ingredients
onions and/or garlic
2 tablespoons butter
350g mushrooms sliced in half so it absorbs flavour
2 tablespoons of flour to thicken the soup
1/2 l of stock
1/2 l of milk
salt + pepper to taste
cream

 Directions
Fry onions/ and or garlic in butter
Add mushrooms, continue to fry
Sprinkle flour on top, continue to fry
Add stock bit by bit so that flour lumps don't form
When you can see its not going to be lumpy add the rest of the liquids
Boil for 10 to 15 mins until cooked
Season with salt an pepper
Puree with a whizzer into little mushroom chunks
Add a little bit of cream with serving if you like
