What is Red Velvet Cake?
I've been hearing alot about Red Velvet Cake on foxtel on all the American shows, and I asked Mum what it is but she didn't know. It seems to become THE CAKE recently since Mum and Pa were in America for uni.
Particulary Bethanny Frankel raved about it on her show "Bethanny getting Married", and here is a picture of her cake made by Pink Box:

apparently real red velvet cake doesn't use red food colouring, it uses beetroot or something like that. and it always has a cream cheese frosting
